Children found dead after fire guts Lacey mobile home

A tragic fire early this morning took the lives of two children in Lacey. Authorities confirmed the victims were a 10-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy.

Firefighters were sent to the mobile home fire in the 3900 block of 21st Avenue Southeast in Lacey early Tuesday.
The blaze was extinguished by around 4:30 a.m., according to . Officials have not released the identity or age of the person who died in the fire.
A neighbor told that a family was living in the home. The flames caused intermittent power outages in the area, with sparks visible from a metal fence due to a downed power line.
Lacey police are currently investigating the incident.
