11-year-old who allegedly tried to stab Lynnwood student back in custody

An 11-year-old boy is in custody for a second time. Deputies reported the boy allegedly brought weapons onto the campus of a Lynnwood school.
The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Department the boy was taken into custody after allegedly bringing two knives to Alderwood Middle School.
“Deputies located the suspect, an 11-year-old boy, who fled on foot,” wrote the sheriff’s office. “Deputies located him and took him into custody.”
The boy鈥攁 former Edmonds School District student who attended a nearby elementary school鈥攊s currently under arrest, stated deputies.
The sheriff’s office added that a previous lockdown was lifted from the middle school and that no one was injured.
“There is no active threat to students or staff,” law enforcement wrote.

The same boy was taken into custody recently for allegedly trying to stab a student at a Lynnwood middle school.
“The suspect, an 11-year-old male, arrived at the campus and attempted to stab another student,鈥 the stated. 鈥淎 teacher witnessed the incident and intervened, preventing the victim from being injured.”
