The Seattle Police Department (SPD) responded to a man who was refusing to climb down from an awning in Belltown.
SPD officers and Seattle Fire Department personnel arrived at the scene after the man climbed a tree into the awning above The Sound hotel.
One lane was blocked while officers worked to coax the man down from the awning.
The man eventually came down.
“I鈥檝e climbed up here many times before,” he said at the scene, as reported by KTTH host Jason Rantz.
An ambulance arrived to transport the man to the hospital.
