Two 19-year-olds arrested after road rage shooting, crash

Two 19-year-old men were arrested following a road rage incident that led to a shooting and crash on southbound State Route 509 near South Cloverdale Street, Seattle police said.
A 54-year-old man told police he was pulling out of a parking lot on Harbor Avenue Southwest on Sunday, according to a post on the .
鈥淭he victim told officers that one man punched him in the face, and the other pulled a handgun from a cross-body bag,鈥 the post said. 鈥淭he victim tried to drive away but was struck again. He also heard a gunshot, but he was not hit.鈥

The victim followed the suspects and called 911, police said. A short time later, the suspects crashed.
The driver was arrested for investigation of assault and DUI; the passenger was arrested for investigation of assault.
鈥淧olice found casings at the original scene, bullet holes in the victim鈥檚 vehicle, and a bag of bullets near the crash site,鈥 the post said. 鈥淭he firearm was not recovered.鈥
