SPD searches for gunman after overnight shooting in CID

The Seattle Police Department (SPD) is investigating a shooting that occurred overnight Tuesday in the Chinatown-International District (CID).
Officers were called to a location near 12th Ave S. and S. King Street at approximately 11 p.m. on May 27. When they arrived, they found a 42-year-old man with at least two gunshot wounds.
The man was rushed to Harborview Medical Center. He is in serious condition, as of this reporting.
The suspect ran off before police arrived, according to the SPD. The suspect has not been located.
Officers are currently processing the scene and collecting evidence, attempting to uncover what led to the shooting.
