Suspect on the loose after attacking man with machete in Lake City

The Seattle Police Department (SPD) is searching for a suspect who allegedly attacked a man with a machete in Lake City鈥檚 Albert Davis Park.
Officers were called to NE 125th Street, behind the library, at 9 p.m. Wednesday. When they arrived, they found a 42-year-old man with minor scratches and small cuts on his hands.
According to an ensuing investigation by SPD, the victim was dancing near an encampment when a man hit him in the back and hand with a machete-style weapon. The victim was taken to a hospital.
The suspect ran off before officers arrived at the scene. They searched the area, but the suspect remains on the loose.
