A would-be armed robber left a casino empty-handed last weekend after being told there was nothing there to steal.
Deputies reported the man walked into the Little Creek Casino in Shelton, brandishing a handgun and demanding cash at approximately 11:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
An employee informed him that there was no money in the till, so the suspect fled on foot.
Investigators stated he was last seen running toward U.S. 101, then onto an overpass above the highway. Deputies, alongside a K-9 unit, couldn’t find him.
The casino’s cameras got a clear view of the suspect. It’s believed the suspect is between 20 and 30 years old and approximately 5 feet, 7 inches tall with a small build.

Authorities stated that he was also seen wearing a clear plastic glove on his right hand. He was also wearing sunglasses.
