A local congressman is hoping to ease the fears about the furloughs hitting Joint Base Lewis-McChord this week.
More than 10,000 civilian employees at JBLM will be furloughed one day a week through September.
Tuesday at 7 p.m., will host a telephone town hall to answer questions about this and other impacts of sequestration.
He will be joined by base commander Colonel Charles Hodges.
