The Washington State Patrol is investigating the cause of a bad accident Saturday that sent a military vehicle flying off an elevated part of I-90 in Bellevue.
The crash left the military transport vehicle crushed by the weight of its own trailer.
Two people were hurt in the crash.
But luckily, they suffered only minor injuries.
Troopers say the military vehicle was headed east on I-90 in Bellevue’s Eastgate area.
It was pulling a trailer.

At one point, investigators say the driver lost control and the vehicle drifted off the freeway to the right.
It then crashed over a wall and flew off the elevated lanes of the interstate.
The rig crashed down about 15 feet, onto S.E. 38th St, with the trailer landing on top of the vehicle, crushing its cab.

Fortunately there were no cars below where it ended up and no other vehicles were involved in the accident.
It’s unclear which military base the vehicle started out from or where it was headed.
A yellow-tape marker on the front of the damaged vehicle indicates it was part of a convoy.
