Evergreen State Fair worker arrested for child porn

A man suspected of sharing child porn on the Internet has been arrested at his job, working at a children’s attraction at the Evergreen State Fair in Monroe.
Seattle Police had been trying since February to identify the guy who they say used different online accounts to talk about pedophilia and share child porn.
According to the , his online identity, “Karney37,” was a clue.
Carnival worker Dale Fager, 38, was arrested at the fairgrounds in Monroe, where he was working for Butler Amusements. Investigators say there’s no evidence he broke any laws at the fair. He’s jailed on $250,000 bail for investigation of trafficking in child porn and for a warrant out of Indiana, which didn’t show up on his background check.
Snohomish County, which owns the fairgrounds, requires fair contractors to conduct background checks on potential employees.
It’s the second year that a suspected sex offender has been found working at the Evergreen State Fair.
