Check current traffic conditions.

A street race that ended in a multi-vehicle crash blocked I-5 traffic and caused miles of backup.

Both racing drivers fled the scene on northbound I-5 near the State Route 18 interchange in Federal Way, the Associated Press reports.

The crash occurred at approximately 4 a.m., according to the Washington State Patrol.

A black Dodge Charger reportedly left the scene. A second vehicle was abandoned and two people were seen running on foot, KING 5 reports.

The crash involved a total of four vehicles. A preliminary investigation found that one of the racing cars clipped a pickup truck, causing it to spin. The other car hit it head-on, which caused a chain reaction.

There were no serious injuries reported, but three lanes of I-5 were blocked.

Though all lanes re-opened before 6 a.m., it caused at least 3 miles of backup, 成人X站 Radio traffic reporter Chris Sullivan says.

Troopers are investigating the crash.
