Microsoft Outlook users report more than 2,700 outages

Microsoft Outlook users have reported trouble accessing certain features in their accounts from Wednesday night to late Thursday morning.

At the height of the outage, a reported 2,720 outages were recorded at 8:51 a.m., according to .

Downdetector takes users’ login problems, server connection, and sending mail issues into account as an outage.

Between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m., the number of reported outages on Microsoft Outlook remained above the 2,000 range.

鈥淲e identified an issue with the initial fix, and we鈥檝e corrected it,鈥 Microsoft 365 Status .聽鈥淲e鈥檙e continuing to deploy the fix, and we鈥檙e closely monitoring the deployment to ensure no further issues are encountered.鈥

Microsoft has not released a statement on what caused the outage, but has urged users to visit a for more information.
