The Lacey Police Department confirmed it arrested a man for the seventh time in the last 14 months.
An employee of the City of Lacey reported to the Lacey Police Department that $5,000 worth of electrical wire was stolen from electrical boxes on Marvin Road. After combing through security footage, members of the department’s Community Resource Unit (CRU) were able to identify the suspect.
“Identifying him was fairly easy, as he has been arrested by our agency six times in the last 14 months,” the Lacey Police Department stated. “One of these arrests was for a burglary where $40,000 in items were recovered, with other arrests for theft, possession of a controlled substance, and warrants.”
The six-time arrested individual was located and taken into custody for a seventh time on charges of theft and malicious mischief.
Multiple bags full of wiring were recovered.
