Woman giving birth involved in two-car collision in Olympia

A two-car collision in Olympia involved a woman giving birth inside one of the vehicles Saturday, the Thurston County Sheriff’s Office .
The crash occurred early in the morning near Cooper Point Road and Black Lake Boulevard in S.W. Olympia.

A Thurston County deputy responded to the collision and found a passenger in labor inside one of the vehicles.
The Olympia Police Department and medical personnel rushed to the scene and transported the couple to the nearest hospital.
No serious injuries have been reported.
