Federal Way police are trying to figure out why a road rage incident that led to a murder wasn’t reported to them.
Dennis Sloboda, 32, was shot on his way to see his wife and new baby in the hospital Monday.
Before leaving for the hospital, Sloboda drove to his brother’s apartment and said a man dressed in white was stalking him after an incident on the road. The man reportedly had pointed a gun at Sloboda at a stoplight. The gunman, according to reports, followed Sloboda to the apartment.
Sloboda asked his brother if he had a gun when he arrived at the apartment. Sloboda told his brother he cut someone off on the way to the hospital, the Times reports.
After spending about an hour at his brother’s apartment, Sloboda left to the hospital. He was shot about five minutes from where his brother lives.
Federal Way police spokesperson Cathy Schrock says Sloboda had a criminal history, including possession of a stolen vehicle, possession of stolen property, and eluding police.
“We know that something happened an hour or so before the shooting,” Schrock said. She said nothing can be ruled out.
Sloboda’s brother told 成人X站 7 that he saw a person dressed in all white outside the family’s home. The man was outside making hand gestures, 成人X站 7 reports.
Investigators don’t have any leads on the shooter.
A has been set up to raise money for Sloboda’s family.
