Three people suspected of a string of crimes, including armed residential burglary, were arrested Friday.
A woman, who lives in the 900 block of NE Serpentine Place, reported being locked in a closet in her home by three people armed with handguns, after they broke in.
Shoreline police began the pursuit of a suspicious vehicle near NE 170th Street and 15th Avenue NE, according to information from the King County Sheriff’s Office. When police attempted to stop the Mitsubishi Eclipse, the driver fled down southbound Interstate 5 toward Seattle.
Police caught up with the vehicle after it was involved in a three-car hit-and-run collision in Northgate. The vehicle’s three occupants were arrested after attempting to flee on foot.
The suspects were taken to the Shoreline Police Station for further investigation.
Seattle police and King County Sheriff’s deputies assisted in the arrests.
