Two people suffered life-threatening injuries after crashing into a daycare facility in Kent overnight Sunday.
The crash happened at approximately 1:40 a.m. Monday, according to Puget Sound Fire, when a car, a Chevy Camaro convertible, collided with the Little Pioneer Academy Child Care Center in Kent. The two people in the vehicle were taken to a local hospital after the crash with life-threatening injuries.
The car was crumpled in the wreckage, while the front exterior of the daycare was destroyed. Puget Sound Fire reported that the structural integrity of the building was threatened after the crash. Firefighters worked to install shoring to stabilize the structure, the fire department noted.
This morning at 1:38 am, Puget Sound Fire, Kent PD, and responded to a car into a building in the 500 block of E. Smith Street. Two patients were treated for life threatening injuries and transported to a Seattle area hospital.
