The 成人X站 Newsradio newsdesk brings you their top stories on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 27.
Heatwave causing dangerous air quality
The excessive heat can cause dangerous air quality, causing ozone to form, especially during the afternoon hours.
Puget Sound Air Quality says that during this week’s heat advisory, those with health problems should try to avoid going outside between 1 and 7 p.m. The danger is even higher for those who live in the eastern parts of Snohomish, King, and Pierce counties.
People with respiratory problems, especially those with asthma, need to take precautions. The best thing is to stay inside, preferably with air conditioning that is purifying the air. Kids and the elderly are also susceptible to complications because of the bad air quality.
You need to treat your pets the same way you do yourself. Limit their time outside and make sure they are staying cool with access to plenty of water.
Mariners look for revenge v. Astros after sweeping Rangers
The Mariners complete the sweep of the Texas Rangers, thanks in part to, who else?
Julio Rodriguez hit the homer in the bottom of the 7th, giving the Mariners a 4-2 lead. That would be the final score.
Rodriguez, after missing the previous series against Houston, went 2-for-8 at the plate in two games v. Texas with both hits going for home runs. The rookie All Star tallied 4 RBIs over his last two games.
Next up, the M’s head to Houston tomorrow for some revenge. Houston recently broke Seattle’s 14-game winning streak, one short of tying the franchise record, in a three-game sweep after the All Star break.
Business remains open despite car crashing into building
Pacific Power Batteries in Marysville is able to stay open after the building was hit by a car this afternoon.
No injuries in that accident, but one person did end up in the hospital after a car drove into a Rehab Center in North Everett yesterday afternoon.
That car ended up a good 10 feet inside the office, behind the reception desk.
Federal Way apartment building in flames
An apartment building in south Federal Way is smoldering as it was heavily damaged by a fire late this afternoon.
Emergency crews are working to figure out if everyone has been able to evacuate.
South King fire says there are no known injuries at the complex, which is on 21st Avenue Southwest near 352nd street.
WA doctor suspended after multiple sexual assault charges
The State Health Department suspends the medical license of an Olympic Peninsula doctor charged with rape and “indecent liberties” with patients.
Doctor Josiah Hill is accused of sexually assaulting three patients at Olympic Medical Center in Port Angeles. One woman says she woke up in the emergency room and was being sexually assaulted by Hill.
Olympic Medical Center says the doctor’s contract with them expired last month and they will not renew it. Doctor Hill has not released any statements.
