Woman cited for DUI twice in same day remains free

Sep 25, 2013, 2:09 PM | Updated: 4:28 pm

A woman arrested twice in the same day for drunk driving in Black Diamond pleads not guilty.

Police cited Laura Kelsch, 58, and then took her home after she crashed her car into a strip mall storefront. When she returned to the same location about three hours later, driving a truck, she was arrested and jailed.

A municipal court judge in Black Diamond Wedsnesday allowed Kelsch to remain free until her next court date in November, as long as she wears an alcohol monitor attached to her ankle.
