Two teens, including one 15-year-old, arrested after 17-year-old girl stabbed in West Seattle

The Marysville Police Department arrested two teenagers in connection with the stabbing of a 17-year-old girl in West Seattle last weekend, the Seattle Police Department (SPD) confirmed.
The two people arrested were a 17-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy. They were arrested Tuesday and booked in the Youth Service Center for investigation of second-degree attempted murder.

The stabbing occurred a few days earlier, on July 5, after a reported burglary took place in West Seattle. When SPD officers arrived at the crime scene at approximately 12:20 a.m., they saw blood on the door of the house before going inside.
“They found the victim with multiple stab wounds all over her body, and she had significant blood loss,” SPD stated in a . “Officers pulled her to safety, and the Seattle Fire Department provided her with medical treatment. SFD transported her to Harborview Medical Center in serious, but stable condition.”
The two suspects fled from the house before officers arrived. SWAT was additionally called to the scene
SPD’s Homicide and Assault Unit detectives are continuing the investigation.
