Gordon Raphael has produced tons of bands over the years including The Strokes, Regina Spektor, Ox . Eagle . Lion . Man . (these guys are odd and great), and a newly found band called The Plastics, to name a few.

Concours d'Elegance is a really great synth pop quartet and they can't help but get the dance floor shaking when they hit the stage . I had a chance to check these guys out when they played the High Dive in Fremont recently and it was one of the best shows around! From the catchy as heck fire music to the amazing lightshow (which included blacklights to great success by the way) to the awesome stage presence and sheer talent, these guys had the dance hall in their synth loving grasp all night long.

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of chatting with local musician Christina Cramer and learning all about her band In Cahoots . She and her bassist Tim played some unforgettable rockin' tunes live in studio and it was awesome! Tonight she's playing the Chop Suey with Vanna D and guests.

I was lucky enough to be able to chat with Concours d'Elegance, one of the hottest bands emerging from Seattle right now . They have an eighties synth pop quality while blending in some early ninties R&B sexiness.
