The scene is now clear after Seattle Fire Department (SFD) crews responded to a ruptured 2-inch gas line in Fremont. SFD stated, , the situation has been turned over to Puget Sound Energy.
More than 20 fire units responded to the rupture in the 300 block of North 36th Street, near the George and Dragon Pub.
David Cuerpo, with SFD, told 成人X站 7 all buildings were evacuated within a three-block radius.
“We responded to reports of a natural gas leak in the 300 block of North 36th street in the Fremont neighborhood, where firefighters arrived on scene that confirmed that there is a major natural gas leak in the area,” he said.
Cuerpo also noted that no injuries have been reported.
“The exposure is not the hazard that we’re concerned about right now,” he said. “It is the explosive limit of natural gas. Right now, we have requested Puget Sound Energy to the scene to help mitigate and secure that natural gas line. But right now, the threat of exposure for folks from natural gas is minimal.”
SFD posted about the rupture Friday around 11 a.m.
